1. Tính từ trong tiếng Anh là gì?
Tính từ(adjective, viết tắt là adj)là có vai trò quan trọng trong câu, giúp bổ trợ cho danh từ hoặc đại từ, nó diễn tả các đặc tính, tính chất của sự vật, hiện tượng mà danh từ đó đại diện.

5.1. Vị trí trước danh từ
Ví dụ
Black Vietnamese leather riding boots
(Đôi bốt màu đen xuất xứ từ Việt làm bằng da dùng để cưỡi ngựa)

(Cô ấy là một nữ doanh nhân nổi tiếng)
5.2. Vị trí sau TO BE
Ví dụ
I am tall (Tôi cao)
She is smart (Cô gái ấy thông minh)
You are nice (Bạn rất tốt bụng)
5.3. Vị trí sau động từ chỉ cảm xúc
Những động từ chỉ cảm xúc mà chúng ta thường gặp: feel, look, sound,become, get, smell , turn, seem, hear

5.4. Vị trí sau những đại từ bất định
Các đại từ bất định thường gặp: something, someone, anything, anyone, everyone, everybody, everything, nobody, nothing.

5.4. Các từ tận cùng bằng những âm tiết sau
Những từ có tận cùng là những âm tiết dưới đây chắc chắn là tính từ
ful:beautiful, peaceful…ive:competitive, expensive,…able: foundable, countable, comfortable…ous:dangerous, famous,…cult:difficult…ish:selfish, childish….ed: bored, excited,..y: danh từ+ ‘Y” trở thành tính từ : daily, monthly, friendly, health, lovely..al:additional, natural,….Ví dụ
